E lá diz o povo que caridade bem ordenada, por nós é começada!

Hoje apetece-me partilhar convosco uma prancha fabulosa da Mafaldinha, na qual Susaninha, numa das suas saídas brilhantes, consegue reflectir a falsidade e inutilidade de inúmeros eventos de benevolência e apoio humanitário que pululam na nossa sociedade, dita solidária!!

Susaninha: "Acredita que a mim também me magoa a alma quando vejo pessoas pobres. Vendedor de Passados

Acabei de ler o último romance de José Eduardo Agualusa, o Vendedor de Passados que relata, num misto trágico-cómico, a história de um africano albino (Félix Ventura) e da sua companheira, uma osga que já foi Homem numa encarnação passada. Félix Ventura tem como profissão construir passados para pessoas que, por um ou outro motivo, precisam de se reinventar. Apesar de toda a fantasia inerente, este livro satiriza de forma inteligente a sociedade angolana e todos aqueles que muito gostariam de ver reescrito o seu passado!

Por esta obra foi o autor premiado, na passada semana, pelo The Independent com o XII Prémio de Ficção Estrangeira.

The reopening

A pedido de muitas famílias, declaro reaberto este blog que encerrei há mais de dois anos!!

Como na sua versão original este era um blog a quatro mãos, optei por eliminar todos os post do passado e começar numa página em branco. Não sei por quanto tempo é certo já que sou dada a sofrer de preguicite aguda no toca à manutenção de actividades regulares. Contudo, serve a presente iniciativa para mostrar a alguns amigos a minha boa vontade em satisfazer os seus pedidos!
